RE/MAX Integrity Broker/Owners Angela Grable and Jeremy Patton, and the entire team of real estate agents at the Columbia City, IN brokerage were recently honored with the Small Business of the year award for their positive impact on the community.

Angela and Jeremy opened RE/MAX Integrity in September 2017 after a company tragedy, but did not allow their misfortune to slow them down. Just a little over one year later, they were honored by the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce at the Annual Recognition Night.  The following is an excerpt from The Whitley Post & Mail:

Columbia City – Small Business of the Year – By Rachael Rosfeld

Each year an award is given to recognize a small business that helps to positively impact the community, and the award is nominated by the members for another.

This year’s recipient was RE/MAX Integrity.

“The pas year has been a rough one for our award recipients,” said Chamber Executive Director Jennifer Romano. “A fire ravaged their office on North Line Street and only momentarily diminished the dreams of Angela Grable and Jeremy Patton. Rising from the ashes of their former business, they quickly found footing in a new location and became RE/MAX Integrity Real Estate. Their business is growing, they’re making plans for a new building – and actively working to help other business grow.”

Romano added, “At a time they could have been focused on their own tragedy, RE/MAX Integrity has been working to give back to the community.  By far, RE/MAX Integrity’s biggest accomplishment was organizing and running a local Yahtzee Run to benefit The Forklift and The Line community meal programs that take place at The Center in Columbia City. The Yahtzee Run raised more than $18,000, which was donated to The Forklift, which was enough to supply them with food for an entire year and enabled them to purchase new kitchen equipment.”
