RE/MAX Connections in Wilbraham, MA has welcomed in a top producing Keller Williams team. Peter and Dawn Ruffini, two accomplished leaders in the real estate profession, have joined the RE/MAX brand and acquired the brokerage from former Broker/Owner, Karen King. Peter and Dawn will assume daily operations and management, in addition to running their team, under the RE/MAX Connections brand and continue its legacy.
“We are excited about this next step in our real estate career,” says Peter. “The opportunity to own and operate a RE/MAX Franchise is a dream come true. We are excited to represent the RE/MAX brand, which is known for its high-caliber of agents and brand recognition.”
Both Peter and Dawn have a wealth of real estate experience; Peter has been in the real estate industry for more than 24 years and Dawn has 19 years of experience. Peter got his start in the industry in 1996 with a small independent firm, working his way into a variety of management positions over the years. Along with starting his own agency, he was formerly a Regional Vice President for Jack Conway and Coldwell Banker. Dawn also started her real estate career at a small independent firm before moving to Coldwell Banker. Peter and Dawn formed their team in 2018, and in 2019 they joined Keller Williams. When the opportunity arose to purchase a RE/MAX office, they say they jumped at the chance.
“At RE/MAX, you’re in business for yourself but not by yourself,” says Dawn. “I like that RE/MAX is an organization that supports you while letting you run your business your way.”
Peter and Dawn hold themselves to the highest level of standards; each have earned many designations throughout their real estate careers and they are highly involved in the REALTOR® Association. Dawn is President elect for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® and was President of the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley in 2015. Peter, a past President of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®, was recently awarded the Milton H. Shaw Distinguished Service Award for his outstanding volunteer service and was awarded the Private Property Rights Award in 2019 for his efforts in advocating for private property rights and promoting home ownership. Peter is also a member of the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers & Salespersons.
Current Broker/Owner, Karen King, will be staying on the team as a full-time agent and says she is excited to be a part of the future at RE/MAX Connections. “I am ready to pass the reins over to Peter and Dawn,” says Karen. “They are both well-respected in the real estate industry and have a great reputation for providing agents with the best support and training. I am excited to see what they will accomplish at RE/MAX Connections and am happy to be a part of it.”
The Ruffini’s are looking forward to using their combined knowledge and experience to help agents grow their business and give clients exceptional service. RE/MAX Connections will continue to serve Greater Pioneer Valley, as well as areas of Eastern Massachusetts.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Peter and Dawn to the RE/MAX brand,” says Fiona Petrie, RE/MAX INTEGRA EVP and Managing Director of US Operations. “Their accomplishments speak volumes for who they are as people and real estate professionals. We know they will take RE/MAX Connections to new places.”
