RE/MAX North Central Rolls Out Three New Out-State Housing Reports

MHR_LogoRE/MAX North Central introduced the Out-State Housing Reports for Southeast and Southern Minnesota and South Central and Northeast Wisconsin this past March.  The interest you  showed and the media coverage was so great we decided to include a few more areas!

Below, you will find three new out-state housing reports for:

Greater Northwoods WI   |   Northwest Wisconsin   |   West Central Minnesota

These reports are created with the consumer in mind, focusing on homes sold and average sold price.  They are a great tool to download, print off, and share with your clients to assist in their home buying and selling process.

In turn, we have also distributed these reports to media outlets throughout the reports’ coverage area.  Our goal is to increase media interest in housing related stories at the local level in which we can offer RE/MAX agents as area experts/sources.

RE/MAX Design Center Integrates with Dropbox

dropbox-iphone-mjRE/MAX North Central has been offering the RE/MAX Design Center, powered by Imprev, as part of it’s value proposition to agents in Minnesota and Wisconsin for nearly 10 years.  We have seen many enhancements come from Imprev, especially since RE/MAX Headquarters invested in the system on behalf of all US agents a couple of years back.  The choice to integrate Imprev with Dropbox is the most recent enhancement which I think you will find very useful. As an example, professional photographers can now upload files to a shared marketing folder with an agent, which then can be accessed directly in the Design Center. It’s all about saving time…which is the number one reason agents say they don’t use the Design Center….”I don’t have time.”  Well, this should help!

For those of you who are not familiar with Dropbox, it is cloud storage and sharing solution. Tim Nichols, e-Biz trainer for the region, has been singing Dropbox’s praises in tech trainings for the past 2 years.  Dropbox offers us the ease of accessing and sharing files from anywhere via a simple internet connection. I have the Dropbox app on my iPhone, iPad, and of course use in on my laptop as well…it has quickly become an integral part of my daily work life.

RE/MAX Balloon Team to Appear at RE/MAX Synergy Garage Sale Fundraiser (May 18)

35 Komen Madison 2012Wow! I sure am impressed every time I hear about the amazing things our RE/MAX agents and offices do to support the communities where they live and work. Take RE/MAX Synergy in Forest Lake, MN for example. Broker/Owner, Mike Muske, started the Muske Support Foundation in 1998 and he and his agents have raised funds for their local communites ever since. They’ve helped support food shelves, student scholarships, fire departments, military troops, and toy drives, just to name a few.

Why You Should Use Google Analytics

GoogleAnalyticsI recently read an article in a Tuesday Tactics newsletter by Scott Levitt, about Google Analytics.

If you’re not familiar with this online tool, this program can provide you amazing insight into how well your website is performing in regards to your business goals.

As Scott explains, this free Google tool can help you increase your online leads by giving you an idea of “how people navigate your site and where it’s failing to meet your goals.”

I highly recommend reading Scott’s article (scroll about half-way down to read the Using Google Analytics to Land More Clients article) for his ideas on how it can help your lead generation.  You can also check out this Simply Business website he found that includes a step-by-step tutorial on Google Analytics for all levels of experience.

RE/MAX Housing Report: Home Prices, Sales & Inventory Improve

home-sales-upLow inventory has characterized the housing recovery for several months, but may be finally showing signs of improvement.  The number of homes for sale in April inched 1.6% higher than the number seen in March, the first monthly increase since June 2010.  At the same time, Closed Transactions and Median Prices both remained 10% higher than last year’s levels. The April RE/MAX National Housing Report, a survey of MLS data from 52 U.S. metropolitan areas, contained signs of a strong housing recovery in regions across the country.  Low inventories contribute to a limited growth in sales, preventing some buyers from closing on the home of their choice.  But if inventories can rise to a more balanced level, the recovery should strengthen and experience even more home sales. The Months Supply of homes for sale at April’s pace of sales was just 3.6 months, the lowest supply since the RE/MAX National Housing Report began in August 2008.   A balanced market is achieved with a Months Supply of 6.
