David Linger – Executive Vice President/Regional Director

David oversees all operations of REMAX North Central in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He has been with RE/MAX North Central since July 1998 and enjoys watching the offices, agents and brand of the RE/MAX North Central region continue to grow. Prior to RE/MAX David held various positions in the Century 21 organization for 21 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from West Virginia Wesleyan and has completed numerous real estate, business and management courses since then. David lives in Lakeville, MN, enjoys fishing, golf and most outdoor activities and he hopes to someday spend a little time in Italy enjoying the local cuisine.

Franchise Development & Sales

Greg Cecchettini – Director of Franchise Development

Greg oversees the management of franchise relationships including renewals, business planning, recruiting and retention assistance, market share and agent data analysis, and the expansion of the RE/MAX system through franchise sales, mergers & acquisitions and conversions. Greg has been with RE/MAX North Central since October 1998 and says that the ever changing real estate industry and the pursuit of premier market presence throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin drives him to ensure all RE/MAX brokers and agents are taking full advantage of the tools available to them through the RE/MAX system. Prior to RE/MAX Greg held various positions within the Century 21 system and, prior to that, was involved in companies within the MLS industry. Greg received his Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance from University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and is a native of California. Greg currently lives in Farmington, MN and enjoys golf, jet skiing, coaching, and watching his kids grow. He hopes to someday travel throughout Europe.

Peter Palermiti – Franchise Development Consultant

Peter works with franchisees in central and eastern Wisconsin. Peter has been with RE/MAX North Central since August 2000 and enjoys watching the Wisconsin offices grow market share through the implementation of the many RE/MAX tools and systems. Prior to RE/MAX Peter was the Director of Acquisitions for a mid-west healthcare company and was also in franchise development with Century 21 of Northern Illinois. Peter received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and currently lives in Chicago, Illinois. Peter enjoys attending professional baseball, football, and hockey games and he looks forward to spending more time in Florida fishing and smoking fine cigars.

Chris Schwartz – Franchise Sales Consultant

As a Franchise Sales Consultant, Chris works to expand and develop the RE/MAX brand in the 13-county metro of the Twin Cities in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Chris joined the RE/MAX North Central team in 2010 and says he enjoys the professionalism and enthusiasm associated with the brand. Chris has a 20-year business development and management history, which includes starting, developing, and marketing his own family franchise. In addition, Chris has experience as a business broker and collegiate baseball coach. Chris received his Bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University and is a native of Apple Valley, MN. He currently lives in Farmington, MN with his wife, Lori, and children, Jake, Abby, and Calie, where he enjoys coaching, training his Labs, and spending time in the outdoors. Chris hopes to someday travel with his family to Austria.

Michele Roy – Franchise Development and Promotions Coordinator

Michele assists new franchise owners during the initial months of office set-up. She also oversees the regional relationships with Children’s Miracle Network, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, coordinates the Regional Hot Air Balloon program and consults on the RE/MAX Trademarks and graphics usage. Michele has been with RE/MAX North Central since January 2004 and enjoys working directly with agents and office owners to help them utilize all the tools RE/MAX has available. Prior to RE/MAX Michele was the Promotions Specialist for the Humane Society for Companion Animals where she worked on fundraising events and public relations. Michele received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and currently lives in Apple Valley with her husband Matt and cats, Sophie and Toby. In her free time Michele enjoys spending time with family and friends, and anything crafty such as sewing and crocheting.

Administration & Finance

Sandra Young – Regional Administrator

Sandra administers all of the regional franchise contracts and oversees its accounting and administrative support services. Sandra has been with RE/MAX North Central since 2008 and enjoys assisting the regional offices from their beginning sale to their day-to-day operations. Prior to RE/MAX Sandra was an administrator with a REIT and a corporate trainer for a national wireless company. Sandra received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Minnesota State University – Mankato and resides in Bloomington, MN. In her free time, Sandra enjoys theater, concerts, a wide variety of sports (participating and watching), and plays piano. She hopes to someday travel to Europe to experience the historic scenery and culture.

Nicole Hanson – Finance Coordinator

Nicole manages all accounting responsibilities at the regional level and processes monthly reports. Nicole has been with RE/MAX North Central since the fall of 2009 and says her favorite part of the job is figuring out billing discrepancies; she loves figuring out billing problems and enjoys the mini-victory when everything balances out. Prior to RE/MAX Nicole was a Staff Accountant at Wizmo Inc. Nicole received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota – Morris and currently lives in Richfield, MN. Nicole enjoys playing games and spending time with her husband and two daughters. In her free time she loves to play in organized team sports leagues, run, cook/bake and golf; someday she and her husband hope to golf every course in MN.

Holly Solis – Membership and Administrative Services Coordinator

Holly provides a variety of administrative services to the RE/MAX North Central regional staff and assists franchise offices throughout the region. Holly has been with RE/MAX North Central since 2007 and says she enjoys working directly with RE/MAX’s Office Administrators as they are truly the backbone of the industry. Prior to joining the North Central team Holly was a licensed real estate agent and a property manager. She received an Administrative Diploma from Minneapolis Business College in 2000 and is working toward a degree in Interior Design and Architecture. Holly is a native of western Minnesota and currently resides in Apple Valley, MN; she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and traveling. Holly hopes to travel to Europe after she graduates to tour and study the architecture of ancient cathedrals and castles.

Elizabeth Kuhn – Director of Marketing & Promotions

As Director of Marketing & Promotions, Elizabeth oversees all operations in the Promotions Department for RE/MAX North Central. Elizabeth has been with RE/MAX North Central since December of 2001 and says she truly enjoys assisting RE/MAX Agents and Owners grow their business and marketshare by building a strong brand in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Prior to RE/MAX Elizabeth was the Marketing & Promotions Director for the St. Paul Saints Baseball Club. Elizabeth has two degrees, one in Marketing and one in Communications from Iowa State University and is a native of Creston, Iowa and now lives in Bloomington, MN. Elizabeth enjoys working out, shopping and spending time with friends and family in her free time and looks forward to taking more vacations again as her three young children grow up!

Keri Henke – Public Relations and Communications Coordinator

Keri acts as a liaison between RE/MAX North Central and regional media outlets to positively promote the RE/MAX brand and its associates. In addition, Keri oversees all internal communications and social networking opportunities. She says she most enjoys visiting with agents and writing press releases. Before joining RE/MAX North Central Keri was a 6 PM News Producer for WHO-TV in Des Moines, Iowa and KSFY-TV in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Keri received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. She currently lives in Burnsville, MN with her husband and son and enjoys spending time with family, running 5Ks and reading in her free time. Keri hopes to someday learn to play the guitar and visit Denali National Park in Alaska.

Shannon Hicks – Meeting and Event Coordinator

Shannon plans and coordinates all RE/MAX trainings, meetings, and events in Minnesota and Wisconsin and has been with RE/MAX North Central since July of 2007. Prior to RE/MAX Shannon was a Meeting & Event Coordinator for an association management company with a variety of client companies; since moving to RE/MAX she really enjoys being able to focus on one company and likes getting to know RE/MAX associates through events. Shannon has a BAS in Psychology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and spent about 5 years working in social services before moving into event planning. She currently lives in the Camden area of Minneapolis, where she enjoys playing in her new garden and utilizing the beautiful Minneapolis parkways for walks and bike rides.

Tim Nichols – eBusiness Trainer

Tim trains franchise owners and associates on RE/MAX’s eBusiness systems. He also oversees the development of new curriculum, coordinates with offices for on-site trainings, and provides technical assistance to the regional office staff. Tim joined RE/MAX North Central in July 2011 and says that he really enjoys helping people overcome their technology hurdles. Prior to RE/MAX, Tim was a Senior Web Developer for FindLaw.com and the lead web designer for a regional ISP. Tim received his Bachelor of Science degree in English Education/History from the Minnesota State University, Mankato and currently lives in South St. Paul with his dog, Cerberus. In his free time Tim enjoys volleyball, cooking, reading, spoiling his nieces and nephews, and playing strategy games with friends. Tim hopes to some day visit England and catch one of Shakespeare’s plays in the reconstructed Globe Theatre.
