RE/MAX Balloon Team to Appear at RE/MAX Synergy Garage Sale Fundraiser (May 18)

35 Komen Madison 2012Wow! I sure am impressed every time I hear about the amazing things our RE/MAX agents and offices do to support the communities where they live and work. Take RE/MAX Synergy in Forest Lake, MN for example. Broker/Owner, Mike Muske, started the Muske Support Foundation in 1998 and he and his agents have raised funds for their local communites ever since. They’ve helped support food shelves, student scholarships, fire departments, military troops, and toy drives, just to name a few.

Tattoo KidsThis Saturday, May 18th, they’re at it again with the Muske Company Community Support Garage Sale. The 26 foot tall RE/MAX inflatable will beckon the bargain shoppers and our awesome balloon pilot, Steve, will be giving basket and burner demonstrations from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm. Come out and find a deal while helping the community!

RE/MAX Presents the St. Paul Winter Carnival Hot Air Balloon Rally- Jan 26-27

524779_474434395936251_1277238249_n[1]More than 50 years ago, as part of the 1962 St. Paul Winter Carnival, White Bear Lake hosted the first modern hot-air balloon race. To honor that first race, RE/MAX will bring it back to the original launching pad for a one-time, two-day event.

Join us at White Bear Beach Park on Lake Avenue/Hwy 96 East (Map) to watch the 10 hot air balloons inflate and the pilots and crews prepare for takeoff. Once launched, watch the sky fill up with colorful balloons floating overhead. Weather permitting., set-up and inflation will begin at 7:30 am on Saturday and Sunday, February 26-27  with launches to begin around 8 am.

Following the flight, the pilots will make their way to St. Paul with their hot air balloon baskets (complete with fire blasting burners) to participate on the King Boreas Grand Day Parade. The parade begins at 2 pm and runs down West 7th Street to Rice Park. View parade route.

August is RE/MAX Month of Miracles!

RE/MAX has been a proud national sponsor of Children’s Miracle Network since 1992. Since that time, RE/MAX agents and offices have raised and astounding $115 million for children’s hospitals throughout North America. A majority of those funds have come directly from agent contributions as part of the Miracle Home Program in which RE/MAX agents make a donation with every closed transaction. Here is Minnesota and Wisconsin, those funds benefit our four member hospitals- Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, and Ministry St. Joseph’s Chilldren’s Hospital.

This year, we are excited to recognize August as the RE/MAX Month of Miracles. Our RE/MAX agents and offices will be encouraged to spread the word about Children’s Miracle Network and how local children are being helped every day. In addition, we will be sharing the story of four very special “Miracle Kids” throughout the month. We hope you will join us in recognizing a Month of Miracles!
