Hey allâ€¦ Max here!

Whew! I hear weâ€™re finally going to get some relief from this insane heat wave! It canâ€™t come soon enough if you ask me. This kind of heat makes it nearly impossible to tether or fly a hot air balloon. Why you ask? Well, a hot air balloon rises when propane burners make the air inside of the balloon considerably hotter than the air outside. So, when the air outside is 100 degreesâ€¦ well, you can only imagine what it would require to make the inside air hot enough for flight. Yikes! Anyway, the good news is that the weather is going to break a bit, and you have four opportunities to see the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon Team over the next week. Hereâ€™s where:

Children’s Hospital Saves Life with Double Transplant

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin performed a rare double organ transplant to save the life of Thomas Castillo, a 15-year-old Illinois boy with complex congenital heart disease and liver failure. A multidisciplinary team at Children’s replaced Castillo’s two organs during a 17-hour surgery. James Tweddell, MD, cardiothoracic surgeon, performed the heart transplantation. David Cronin, MD, PhD, FACS, abdominal transplant surgeon, performed the liver transplantation. This is the first heart-liver transplant performed on a child, birth to age 17, in Wisconsin and only the 10th ever performed on a child in the U.S.
