a It’s that time of the year again – everywhere you go is covered in pink and red hearts and you’re lucky if you can turn a corner without the temptation of foil covered chocolate. There are roses on display almost everywhere you go, and it’s difficult to escape the constant advertisements sharing something for that special someone. Due to one too many heart shaped chocolates and a run-in with Cupid’s arrow, we’ve decided to get into the spirit of the season. For this month’s Apps of the Month, we’re sharing the love by giving you a list of our favorite apps for February!

ScannableScannable is brand new app made by the people at Evernote, but you don’t need Evernote for this app to be of value to you. With this app, you can scan any document easily into PDF format and then quickly send them to whoever needs them. NOTE: If you scan just one page it makes it a .jpg file but if you scan multiple pages it becomes a PDF file. Scannable also allows you to scan business cards which will then create a contact in your phone. It will even pull information off LinkedIn! *Note: for this function you do need to have an Evernote account.

CoeverywhereCoEverywhere is a very interesting app that is still in the early stages. It is a social media monitoring tool that allows you to draw on a map to monitor all public social media posts from that area. It allows you to easily see everyone who is active on social media in your area. Based on this knowledge you will know who to engage with because you know who either lives or works in your target market. This will greatly simplify a lot of your work on social media when trying to engage new people every day.

Date Wheel Date Calculator

DatewheelThis app is very simple yet it can very convenient for people. Some will look at this app and think “Well who needs that, you can just do it in your head really easily” while others think “that’s exactly what I need!”. All Date Wheel does is you enter two of the fields and it automatically updates the third to get you the information. The first field is start date, the second field is duration, and the third field is end date. This way you can quickly pull up how many days between certain dates. This is obviously more useful when it’s a longer time period but you can use it for as short a period as you like.

There you have it, our three favorite apps of the month! Check them out and don’t be afraid to share the love and let us know about your favorite apps! Let us know what you think of them and if you’ve found any other creative uses for them.
